Who am I?

Well I'm one of you! I lived in Norwalk and graduated from Exelsior in 1968. 10 years ago my husband was transferred to Rhode Island for his work and I have been a reluctant citizen of the New England states since then. It is not "home" nor will it ever be. The climate alone would make a Californian cry and the stuffiness of the citizens would make you run for the hills. I have given up much and I still hold California dear to my heart. I guess that is why I had started this venture. It keeps me involved with my own classmates and I get to know what's happening with them all and how they are fairing in life too.

Here in New England I have my own small glass studio and I started doing web designs for my own personal use, many years ago. A few years back an author friend of mine approached me to design a web site for his books and I have gradually progressed from there. In 2008 our class of 1968 would have been having their 40th reunion and somehow I ended up being chairperson for that reunion. So my experience designing web sites came in handy for our event and proved to be one of the most important features we could have had. We had a great team working together for our reunion and we were scattered across the United States in Minnesota, Massachusetts, Nevada, California and Arizona and still we were able to bring so many people together that it was a wondeful success.

Since then, our web site has continued to grow and I get wonderful feedback from not only my own class but other people from other classes and schools that tell me how they enjoy looking at our site. How it brings back fond memories of a great place.

So this is who I am and how I started and why I'm happy to provide for other Excelsior Alumni the best possible way to promote your reunion.
